The Corrupted Field Guide is a personal project to explore a tension I encountered while conducting urban ecology research: the human habit to treat other species as sources of aesthetic delight, while recoiling from anything that crosses an invisible line of comfort. The book’s tidy design reflects this stance, coming into friction with the resisting illustrations.
